Long requested feature finally here: Export to Excel from Power BI

Profitbase, led by Product Manager Anders Aano, is now excited to announce that the “export to Excel” add-on is now available in Power BI.

– “This is a feature that many have requested for a long time,” says the product manager.

Previously, Profitbase has offered a visualization tool to easily create beautiful and accurate financial reports in Power BI.

– “The advantage of the add-on feature is that you not only get the numbers out, but you also retain all the formatting, coloring, and other work you have done – and it looks exactly the same. So if you have spent time crafting a report in Power BI, you will see the benefits when you export it to Excel.”

Aano further explains that with the new add-on feature, it will be possible to play with the numbers after the report is exported to Excel. It will also be possible to perform additional calculations without having to do all the groundwork from scratch.

– “In a few weeks, it will be available to everyone, but if anyone wants to start today, they can download it here,” says Aano.
